We profile a wonderful resilience program with young Indigenous women and girls in Walgett, a small town in northern NSW, (650ks from Sydney). The program was run by the Walgett Police Youth Citizens Club. (Image Above)
The top image shows a similar program which ran in Smithton on Tasman’s north-west coast. The I Am program featured local mentors helping young women increase their confidence and build resilience.
