WALKING THE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS

Jun 7, 2021 | Events, News

In August 2020, in the middle of what became a 4 month lock-down in Melbourne, Highways and Byways supporters across various parts of Australia took to their footpaths and tracks to walk and our annual bush walk to honor Father John Wallis. We hope to be up and out there in person in 2021. Stay tuned for a definite announcement when we can!

in 2020, on a record day of rain and wild weather in parts of Melbourne and Victoria, we had beautiful images of nature shining through as we turned towards a season change. Amanda Freeman, sent us this image below which captured the day beautifully.

Special call out to Helen, Jen and Sandy on the Adungadoo Pathway Walk in Roma, Queensland and to Clare Smith from our Toowoomba branch travelling out west (as Clare described “in the middle of Queensland’) who came across this mother emu and her children walking in spirit with us!
