Finding Meaning in a Chaotic Changing World.

This was the title of the John Wallis Memorial Lecture given by Frank Brennan SJ in St Theresa’s Parish Centre, Toowoomba on Sunday, 7th May 2017.

Some 200 people attended this lecture in which Frank explored current trends on the world scene, the issues these raise and where we find ourselves politically, spiritually, socially and religiously in that context.   The audience was delighted, informed and enthused by his lecture which can be heard on this link.

Frank Brennan is well known for his social justice work and advocacy, particularly, but not only, for Aboriginal and Islander peoples.   He was recently appointed CEO of Australian Catholic Social Services – a position to which he brings wide-ranging experience and broad perspectives.   Click on the link to read  Frank Brennan’s vision for ACSS.
