The Hobart Branch of the John Wallis Foundation is delighted to be hosting a John Wallis Memorial lecture in Hobart on Wednesday 19th September, with renowned author and all round interesting speaker Michael McGirr – God, Family and Other Home Truths.
Michael will bring his entertaining and anecdotal style to an evening that will give insight into his, and perhaps our own, faith journey as seen through the lens of family with all it’s wonderful ups and downs. He will share, with a measure of discretion he assures us, what it is like to ride the bumpy journey to faith and meaning with three teenagers in the internet age.
The lecture (with Auslan interpreter) will be held at Guilford Young College, 94 Barrack Street, Hobart.
Time 7.00pm
Cost $10.00 donation, Concession / Students $5.00 – Pay on the night.
